1. What EQUIPMENT do I need?
LIVE-STREAMED SPIN SESSIONS & FUNCTIONAL TRAINING:
General:
Stable internet connection
Streaming device - a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop
Zoom account - all classes will be streamed via Zoom
Facebook account (if available) or email address - Zoom links will be posted on a private Facebook group platform and/or sent out via email
Spin:
Stationary bike set-up: either a bike trainer (smart / drive train / friction / roller ) with a normal bike mounted on it; or any type of exercise bike
Drink bottle & sweat towel
Optional: fitness tracking device (mobile app; smartwatch; Garmin etc) and sensors - to monitor power, cadence, speed etc
Functional Training:
Exercise mat
Easy-medium strength resistance tube/band
Easy, medium, and heavy hand weights - plates, dumbbells, or ‘home-made kettlebells’
(= 2/3L milk/laundry detergent bottles with handles, filled with water, gravel or rocks)2 Sliders - either ‘professional ones’ or home-made versions
(cleaning rags/socks on floorboard; plastic bags on feet/hands on carpet etc)Physioball
Chair (or workout bench)
MOUNTAIN BIKING SESSIONS:
Mountain bike: with fitted size/suspension, and well-maintained/properly working gears and brakes
Safety gear: helmet; glasses; spray jacket; and gloves (recommended: knee & elbow protection)
Weather dependent: extra warm layers, rain jacket
Drinking bottle or hydration pack; snacks
Backpack
2. WHEN are online training live-streamed?
We are currently offering live-streamed training sessions at 7.30 am (AEST) as per below.
However, we intend to add an afternoon training time slot (AEST) to cater for both an Australian and European clientele. We are keen to add this extra time slot as soon as there is demand.
